Can you order a serenade at home anywhere in Mexico?

The idea of sending a serenata (serenade) should be as simple as sending flowers: you choose the city, you choose the musician and that is it. In practice, live music depends on there being musicians available in each place, and that is why coverage grows city by city, not all at once.

As of October 2026, the musicians published on Serenattia are in the cities in the table below. If your city does not appear, it does not mean there is no way to solve it: you can search in a nearby city, or come back when the supply grows. We do not promise coverage where there is none.

How to order a serenade at home, step by step

  1. Go to the list of musicians and filter by your city.
  2. Compare profiles and rates. Prices are visible and there is no exclusivity.
  3. Choose the date, time and full address, with landmarks.
  4. Pay 100% when booking.
  5. The Serenattia team confirms the availability of the booking.
  6. On the day of the event, scan the musician's QR before they play.

How your money is protected

When you hire from another city or for another person, trust matters even more. That is why the money is held in escrow from the moment you pay and is released to the musician only at the event, when you scan their QR code before they play. If they do not arrive, the payment is not released. In addition to the musician's rate, a 10% service fee with a minimum of MX$200 is paid; the musician receives 100% of their rate. If you need an invoice, it can be issued and the 16% VAT goes on top.

And if I want to surprise someone in another city?

You can book from wherever you are, as long as there are musicians published in the person's city. Coordinate with a relative or friend who is there: have them receive the group, let you know in case of doubts and record the moment so you can watch it together. Surprising from a distance is one of the reasons sending a serenade can be so special.

Tips for distance

Make the address very clear, with landmarks and a contact phone number for whoever will be present. Confirm the time with the person receiving the group. Choose a format that fits the space of the house. And ask someone to record, so you do not miss the moment even if you are far away.

Quick checklist before booking (serenade at home anywhere in Mexico)

  • Set the date, time and full address, with landmarks to arrive without detours.
  • Decide who will receive the musician and who will record the moment.
  • Choose two or three songs with meaning and confirm them with the musician.
  • Ask what the published rate includes and have it put in writing in the booking.
  • If there are neighbors nearby or a guard booth, let them know ahead of time.
  • On the day of the event, scan the musician's QR before they play to release the payment.

With this list settled, the only thing left is to enjoy the moment and let the music do the rest.

Common mistakes worth avoiding (serenade at home anywhere in Mexico)

The first is leaving it for the last minute: the sooner you book, the more options you will have and the less rush there will be on the day of the event. The second is not asking what the rate includes, because two similar prices can cover very different things. The third is not thinking about the place: the space, the noise and the neighbors completely change the experience. And the fourth is forgetting the QR: scanning it before the musician plays is the step that releases the payment and confirms that everything went as agreed.

If you have doubts, go back to the list of musicians and compare calmly before deciding.

How to make it memorable (serenade at home anywhere in Mexico)

Beyond the group or the price, what makes a serenade memorable is the intention. Think of a short phrase you want to say at the end, a song that means something to the two of you and a moment of silence before the first note. Ask someone to record video, even with a phone, and keep the memory to watch later. A small detail, like a handwritten note or a long hug, accompanies the music and turns it into a complete scene. Planning ahead and with care almost always shows.
